Crumpled paper art

So I finished that drawing on that paper from a couple days ago. It's for an art show where UK dude DAPO (his art rules) draws these big spraypaint cans for other artists to finish. Pretty cool Idea! I don't work well big, so I just filled it up with a bunch of small stuff:

Well, I thought this would be more of a recap, but all I can really say was that my talk went well. Thanks for everyone that came! The draw part of my 'talk and draw' was to come up with a doodley character and list a couple interesting facts about him. Surpisingly, everyone participated and you can check them all out HHHHEEEEERRRRREEEE but I'll post the winner: Jakes wrestling chair:

I really wish Jake would make his comics more accessible to the public (at least a blog or SOMETHING), cuz he's one of my favorite Denver cartoonists. His comics just FLOW.

And Sorry Dapo, not to be rude or anything... it's just a weird way to send a big piece of paper haha. I'll still draw on it and send it back (in a tube!). And jeez, if you guys aren't checking out LEVI'S BAUJAHR then you're crazy. It's probably my favorite continuing strip right now! Well maybe Strobe is. I love how he draws, check out his characters with Snood:

So me and Samantha are watching Leila del Duca's dog, Sandy this weekend! She's fun to be around, but her breath smells bad, and Sandy's pretty cool too! ZING! haha jk, Leila is being super cool to me (along with the always awesome Lonnie Allen) today and letting me sit at their table at the DENVER COMIC FEST. So come on down!

It's hard being me

It's funny that the only reason I ever clean up is to be passive aggressive. It's also funny that this is the first time my mom has been in a comic forever (and she's yelling at me, ha) and it's her birthday tomorrow! Love you mom!

A few months ago I submitted to an awesome newspaper anthology! I'm really excited to see it printed, and they have an Indiegogo account set up to help with costs. Usually for those things (indiegogo is just like kickstarter) they have a minimum of a $20 donation, but these guys go from $6 to $35 and each one comes with one or multiple copies of the finished printed newspaper, one or multiple copies of mini-comics from the submitters, and the $35 one comes with original art from one of the submitters! so you should totally donate! Check it!
